Chosen with intention.
Current & Clear is being built around a carefully considered collection for the freshwater aquarium, with a particular focus on planted environments and the elements that make them exceptional.
We won't try to have everything.
Instead, we're interested in the things worth finding: beautiful plants, distinctive livestock, natural materials, and thoughtfully selected essentials chosen for the aquariums we want to create ourselves.
A smaller collection. A higher bar.
Living
Where every aquarium begins.
Plants are at the heart of what we're building at Current & Clear. From familiar favorites to specimens that are a little more difficult to come across, our focus will be on plants chosen for their beauty, character, and potential within the aquarium.
Alongside them, a distinctive freshwater livestock selection will complement the planted environments at the center of Current & Clear.
Selected to live beautifully together.
Natural
The pieces that give an aquarium its character.
Stone. Wood. Texture. Form.
Hardscape isn't simply something to fill a tank. It's the structure around which an entire environment takes shape.
Our approach will favor pieces with character and natural materials worth choosing individually, because sometimes the difference comes down to finding exactly the right one.
Essential
Only what earns its place.
The equipment behind a beautiful aquarium should be chosen with the same care as everything inside it.
Rather than overwhelming shelves with endless variations of the same thing, Current & Clear will focus on thoughtfully selected essentials that meet the standards we expect for our own aquariums.
STILL TAKING SHAPE
The collection isn't here yet.
And that's intentional.
Current & Clear is still being built, and so is what will eventually fill it. As we get closer, we'll begin sharing more of what's been selected, what we've discovered, and what you can expect to find.
